Paint to Music is an ongoing collaboration with artist Hamid Ebrahimifar, where sound and color meet in real time.

Together, we guide workshops and performances that invite participants to let music lead their brush. Each session blends live-composed soundscapes with the visceral act of painting — creating an environment where intuition takes over and creativity flows freely.

What began as exploratory studio experiments has grown into sold-out sessions at the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts, with more workshops and performances planned for the future.

Attendees, from seasoned artists to complete beginners, have described the experience as meditative, liberating, and even transformative.

For me, these events are about making music visible: revealing how sound shapes movement, emotion, and imagination.

Paint to Music isn’t just a workshop; it’s a shared journey where art forms dissolve into one another, and where anyone can step into the rhythm of creation.

Listen up.

Our first collaboration together turned into this - starting with a simple idea and layering different instruments on top, much like an artist would use different brush strokes and colors to form a picture.
